North West 200 announces partnership with Briggs Equipment Commercial Vehicle Hire

Briggs Equipment’s relationship with the North West 200 was strengthened further this week as Briggs was confirmed as NW200 Commercial Vehicle Partner for the May 5-10 road racing spectacular.

Following on from their title sponsorship of the Briggs Equipment North West 200, Briggs has agreed a partnership with the event to supply a range of commercial vehicles for the next two years.

The announcement is the latest example of Briggs Equipment and the NW200 working together to improve the iconic festival of road racing.

“The organisers of the North West 200 are pleased to announce this new commercial vehicle partnership, a partnership that enhances further the strong working relationship between Briggs Equipment and Ireland’s largest motorcycle racing event,” NW200 Race Director, Mervyn Whyte, said as the new deal was announced.

“This partnership will provide the vital assistance required during the height of the race action, ensuring we have the necessary equipment and support throughout the 2025 festival.”

“We’re delighted to reach this agreement and see the partnership with the North West 200 as the ideal springboard for this new division of our business,” said Briggs Equipment Divisional Director, Colin McNeely.

“We want to provide all our customers and partners with the most comprehensive solutions for their business, and obviously a lot of businesses need different commercial vehicles for their operations – from sales and deliveries to maintenance teams on the road.

“At the North West 200, our vehicles will be used for a range of tasks, including course management, branding, bike recovery, and health and safety. It’s great that we can provide this important assistance to Mervyn and the event team.

“We also have an agreement in place with one of the official partners of the Open Championship, so our commercial vehicles will be at Royal Portrush Golf Club for a number of weeks. I’m really excited to be involved with these huge sports events.”
