David Johnson to spearhead Kawasaki UK’s campaign at the 2025 Briggs Equipment North West 200.
Kawasaki UK will join forces with team boss, Lee Hardy, to field Australian road racer, David Johnson, at the 2025 Briggs Equipment North West 200 on a Ninja ZX-10RR in the Superbike and Superstock classes around the 8.9 mile Triangle course on May 5-10.
‘I’m very happy to be continuing with Lee and the Platinum Club Racing Kawasaki team for a second season.’ the Adelaide born rider said. Johnson has fully recovered from injuries sustained in a huge crash at last year’s the Isle of Man TT and is ready to resume his roads campaign with the Japanese manufacturer.
‘We will start off 2025 with a good set-up and we will build from there, in the meantime I’ll be home in the Australian sunshine, racing, track day coaching and training hard until the time comes to return to Europe and the UK for pre-season testing.’ the popular Aussie said.
‘As a team we have un-finished business at the North West.‘ team boss Hardy said.
‘I am looking forward to getting back there again as the official Kawasaki road racing team in 2025. It is great news for the team and Kawasaki to secure Davo for another year.
