The North West 200 is unique in the Northern Ireland events calendar and as it now enters its 93rd year, it is a world class motor sport event, synonymous with the Causeway Coast destination and the largest outdoor sporting experience in Ireland. The week-long festival of motorcycle road racing includes three days of practice and racing by the world’s best riders on the iconic ‘triangle’ circuit that links the coastal resort towns of Portrush and Portstewart with Coleraine.

The NW200 Race Week Festival incorporates seven days of music, food and drink, culture and entertainment for all with an estimated 100,000 fans and visitors making the annual trip to the event’s historic home. Staged on the stunning Causeway Coast, the history, excitement and uniqueness of the event consistently secures dedicated support from local fans and increasingly attracts an international visitor profile from around the world.

As an International standard event attracting the world’s best motorcycle road racers, the NW200 enjoys event partnerships with BBC Northern Ireland and Greenlight TV enabling extensive event coverage to be broadcast on BBC NI as well as the BBC Network, iplayer and digital platforms. An International TV distribution network provides the event with a global reach into 800+M homes and results in the NW200 maintaining a PR & Media Value in excess of £10M.
